Brave just can't resist!!!

First of all, let me just start by saying that my son Brave is the best kid in the whole world!! My kids are my heart and my whole world!!!
Okay so ever since Navani was born Brave has loved her to death... not to mention all the cool toys that came along with her!! I thought it was so cute to catch Brave playing with them or trying to sit in them!! And although I didn't get to take a picture everytime that he did, I just wanted to share with you the ones I did get. Brave LOVES his papi to death, and every time daddy does something or has something Brave does it. So here are some pictures of Brave stayin FRESH just like his PAPI....

This year has been so fun!!!

This year seems like it is just flying by!!!
Navani is going to be 1 this July and it seems like she was just born yesterday!! Ooh, how time flys! Let's see this year we went up to my parents house when my sis Alma and adorable nephew Connor came to visit in May. It was so much fun, Brave sure loves his cousin. When we arrived in SLC we went to the Hogal Zoo where we met up with my mom, tio Donnie and Connor. Brave was so excited to see Connor that he ran up and gave him a hug! It's so cute because Brave totally treated him like a baby at first, but Connor sure showed him that he was no longer a baby, by laying in the punches and kicks! The kids had a ton of fun except, for I was so used to the St. George weather and for got to put a lite jacket in the car for the kids. So they were cold for the first half, until it got hot later on. We took the kids to the dino museum in ogden, boys sure like dinosaurs!! Brave and Connor did fight alot but, were friends again within minutes. Man that museum sure has changed since I was there when I was a girl scout! There was a ton of cool stuff from the bones to the robot dinos. Brave was so cute there, he kept telling the T-rex that he better leave the tri-ceratop mommy and her babies alone!! And Brave knew all the names of each dinosaur. He is too smart for his age!! We also took them to the trout farm, where with-in 5 minutes Brave and Connor had caught 8 fish!!! While tio Dustin was still trying to catch his first one!! Mia loved to watch Brave touch the fish in the bucket, beacuse everytime he did they would all start flipping around, and she thought it was the funniest thing in the whole world!! OOh yeah, let's not forget tio Dustin was ready to give up fishing with the pole and tried to catch a fish with his hands!!! Still no luck, I think by the time our fish were getting cleaned he finally caught 3, with help from Brave!! Let's see the Layton Park was so fun for the kids too, we had to buy Brave and Connor their own bag of bread so they wouldn't fight over just one loaf (yeah right), they still fought over their loaf's of bread because they kept putting them on the ground and would get mixed up on where they put it down. (Boys will be boys) I think it is soooo funny to watch them play together. Back at my parents house Brave was trying to teach Connor how to ride his jeep, poor Connor could get the steering part down, but his legs were to short to reach the pedals, so Brave would get out of the passenger seat and walk all the way around to pulling on Connor's legs to help him try and reach the pedals and when they wouldn't reach he would tell him to get out of the seat so he could drive. It was so funny and precious at the same time. Your probably wondering where Navani was for all of this... she was there with her papa the whole time!! She truely is her PAPA's girl. So it got so hot one day and tia Alma bought the boys this swimming pool from the store, but it only lasted one day cause the cheap pool got a hole in it. So we took out the slip n slide out for the boys!! Brave loved every minute of it. Connor didn't really get the hang of it he thought that you run and then half way on the slide you fall on your butt. But towards the end Brave showed him how to land on his tummy and slide. I don't think Connor like it very much cause he kept getting water in his nose. He's to dang cute!!! While up at my parents house Navani got her first 2 bottom teeth and started scoooting!! Well here are some pictures of our mini vacation at my parents house.....

Well thanks to all our family who came down to spend Easter weekend with us! We had a ball! Even though we did miss the big Easter hunt at the red park (as Brave calls it), it stll turned out to be a great day. Going to the art festival and then going bowling, and not to mention the delcious ham lunch, early dinner before church on Sunday. We all had a blast! Luckly thanks to Tia Missy, Brave was still able to go Easter egg hunting in the park! Thanks tia!!

The Holidays

Well, we hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! This year's Christmas was fun Brave is now old enough that he understands the whole santa thing. He was so excited that santa came and ate the cookies and milk that he and his cousins left out for him. Navani just kind of went with it all. We had a great time hanging out with our families. Especially seeing Connor and Brave play together. They rarely get to do that so it's a speacial treat for both of them. Brave was trying to teach Connor how to drive his power wheel, while he pushed the gas petal for him. (His legs are still to little to reach the petals.) It was the cutest thing to watch them change seats. Conner's leg would get stuck on the stick shift and Brave would help him get it over.

For New Year's Native went to Vegas to meet up with his friends. And I got to spend the end of the year washing dishes and hanging out with my nephew and niece flipping through channels. While Brave and Navani slept through it all. Well here are some pictures for you to enjoy as we share some of our holiday and Christmas moments with you.
