The Holidays

Well, we hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! This year's Christmas was fun Brave is now old enough that he understands the whole santa thing. He was so excited that santa came and ate the cookies and milk that he and his cousins left out for him. Navani just kind of went with it all. We had a great time hanging out with our families. Especially seeing Connor and Brave play together. They rarely get to do that so it's a speacial treat for both of them. Brave was trying to teach Connor how to drive his power wheel, while he pushed the gas petal for him. (His legs are still to little to reach the petals.) It was the cutest thing to watch them change seats. Conner's leg would get stuck on the stick shift and Brave would help him get it over.

For New Year's Native went to Vegas to meet up with his friends. And I got to spend the end of the year washing dishes and hanging out with my nephew and niece flipping through channels. While Brave and Navani slept through it all. Well here are some pictures for you to enjoy as we share some of our holiday and Christmas moments with you.

So far this year.....

This has been a really great year for our family. We moved to San Jorge in Febuary, and what can we say "WE LOVE IT" best decision we have made. Although we do miss all of our family down north, it is still nice because they come up and visit alot. For all of you that don't know Brave is finally potty trained!!!! And it only took 1 week for him to get the hang of it. We're so proud of him. We have a new member to add to our family, her name is Navani Yanaha Nakai aka "bunny" as her brother calls her, born on July 19th, weighing in at 6 lbs. 4 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long. Thank you to all that came down for the support. And a speacial thank you to papa Nakai and tio Daniel for the blessing that they gave me, and to god for blessing us with this beautiful little girl who already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger. Brave sure does love his sis and is so protective of her. He also is enjoying this St. George weather getting to play outside all day long. Navani is also a true St. Georgian when she hears the door open she fusses until we go out and sit just so she can watch her brother play. She is now 3 1/2 months and the most beautiful little girl in the world. Stay tuned for more pics of her new hair do, inspired by her tio Donnie. Let's see for Halloween Brave was Harry Potter and bunny was a angel. Brave turned 3 on Nov. 3rd, stay tuned for video of him opening birthday gifts. Well I think that sums up the year so far. Hopefully I can keep this updated for guys, I promise I wil try my best. With love from our familia to yours.

My promise to you!

Okay, so I am not really sure how to have a cool layout like some of the other blogs that I have seen. I need to take the blogging 101 class. But I hope to those of you that can't be near us this will keep you updated on all that we are up to in St. George.
